Ack, oh man I have been meaning to post to you Leila. I read your message, and then yeah just got really homework obsessed this weekend. I am so happy you got rid of the icky job! And congrats to Tim!!!! That is so huge!!!!!! I want to start posting again too, not so much ED focused, but more because I simply have made you girls a part of my life. Its a constant support for me, and I love having the connections across the US. Thanks for getting this started again Leila.

Okay so updates. Semester is going good, one class actually finishes in two weeks. I have to take child assessment so finding kids to assess has proven to be a challenge. we have ten assessments due in 10 weeks, but the first few weeks we didn't have anydue, so yeah some weeks we have more then one. Besides school I have really grown socially. I started hanging out with the girl that works the front desk at my gym. She is 26, so slightly older then me, but its good to have a friend who isn't constantly analyzing things. Then Jen, Sylvia and I have had like a consistent sunday thing going. we take the evening to catch up, and I am really enjoying that. I have found I take one day off completely and some days take afternoons off. I am excited for august because I get the entire month off and will be going home. Oh and my feet finally are completely healed and I am back to running which makes me feel free and happy. Lots of new interesting friends at the gym.Most of them are in their thirties, but hey my gym is like the elderly gym. anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have been especially curious about Cailin and her baby. updates please girls. I love you all!

Hey!!! Omg I've missed you guys! I'm so glad things are going well now with everyone and was wondering if "we had died" as Nicole once put it :/ But I'm so happy to see people are checking back in! I don't care what the topic of discussion is, I find I'm interested in any direction this board takes because I feel connected to you guys. So food-related or not, I'm a happy camper!
Things have been going well for lately! My head is finally coming under control, so recovery is a much smoother road! (yeah med. combos and doctors who know their stuff!) I'm in training for 2 half marathons, one in Aug. and the other in Nov., and ultimately will be running a marathon in Jan. I'm loving the training and jump out of bed at the crack of dawn all excited on running days, and am overall thrilled to have my old passion back (e.d. used to tell me running would make me big, so I stopped...? Uhhh, doesn't make any sense now that I use logic!) Luckily, Dani is an awesome trainer, and if anyone on here has any words of wisdom about training, please chime in! I love hearing about others' successes and tips!
I started my volunteer job at a senior community center when the semester ended and I'm enjoying it while at the same time getting some good references for the internship I'll apply for in the fall (the volunteer work is administrative/receptionist/accounting work). I'm an old soul, so I enjoy being around old people and hearing their stories I just finished a whole summer school class already so 3 of my 10 summer units are done! Exciting! Chris arrives July 1 and we are possibly going on a 3 day sailing trip to Catalina Island or to Palm Springs (or just enjoying relaxing in San Diego, which I couldn't complain about since I just want to see him!), so lots to look forward to
I'm so glad we're trickling back in! Can't wait to hear from everybody!

maybe posts Oh Jamie go sailing on Catalina! That would be so fun I wish we had met while I was still there, boooo. This weekend we are going to Monterey, CA. But I think we are going to go down there in either October or November, we should definitely try to get together!

So we have this commercial for the washington state lottery with all these birds that can't fly (penguins, roosters, chickens, emu's etc) and then they are hooked to paragliders and then the people fly the non-flying birds. And it is to cute music and it says "every bird deserves to fly." I love it, lol.

oh and wedding plans - booked our flights for our honeymoon last night! We are going to spend a week in San Francisco and Napa/Sonoma. I can't wait! It will be so relaxing and fun. I LOOOVE San Fran, so I cannot wait to be there now that I am over 21. LOL. And Sonoma, ahhhh relaxing with bread, cheese and wine. Perfect!

Hmm... so what's new in my life? I just got back from a 2-week trip around the East Coast. I flew down and spent a week in Florida with my friend Sabrina and her family, and then came back up to the NE for a mini-Cornell reunion with my best friends in Philly, South Jersey and Western Mass. It was very nice and I'm already sad and missing Cornell (nevermind the fact that I am actually still here, haha). I'm leaving here next week to drive back home for the rest of the summer. Then come mid August, I'll be coming back to New York and will be settling in Buffalo for a few years to do my dietetic internship and get my masters. That's pretty much my story... basically, I'm very happy and content with where I am in life right now. =)
