i thought this might be good for all of us...
i'm sure you all are familiar with the Something Fishy website for eating disorders. on there, its a rule that if you're going to put something that you feel might trigger someone, you're required to put "MAY TRIGGER"
i think it will be good for all of us to start trying to do that.
what do you guys think?

Yeah, i had actually avoided posting my stats until the recent "goals" announcement. I was afraid the competitive side of me would come out, but i'm getting comfortable enough with all of you and i don't feel competition, i feel supported.

I agree...while it's so important for us to have support, it's also easy to Trigger each other by reminding us of the security blanket we have had. Example, if person A is feeling down and sees person B holding a lower weight, stricter food rules, eating less--all the stuff person A used to get false security from--she may be tempted to relapse. On the other hand, if person A is feeling strong she can encourage person B to pull through. Thus, if messages are labeled we can know what we can handle and what we can't , so no one feels the need to "leave" on yucky terms. [unless you're like me and just need to force yourself to do yucky stuff that MUST get done rather than checking this board ten times + per day!]
