Totally! The only time I want candy is right after dinner or right after lunch - but if I brush my teeth it goes away Oh and Carolyn - you should post a thread with your story & then join in the daily meal threads

i am just in the habbit of brushing my teeth right away after every meal because when i had braces, i HATED having food from prior meals in my teeth or still taste them in my braces [gross!!] so now it's just habit and if i don't brush right away, or can't (like at lunch at school) i just chew gum! or use a listerine strip! if i don't i feel sooo gross!!

So yeah, they weighed me today at my doc appointment for my depo shot. Damn, and I will get weighed again on Monday when I have my annual, dammit.

Leila - I chew gum a lot too. I "intuitively" just had some chocolate rice cakes! Those things ROCK!
My stress eating is my problem moreso than my regular meals. I brush my teeth at work too!

mmm yeah I constantly chew whitening gum. I used to use whitening strips obsesively, but my dentist took them away because they strip your enamel. he said the gum is ok though

currently: 5'7.5" and 123 lbs
Goal: eat as clean and healthy as possible all week and let myself eat intiutively on the weekends. I also wish to keep working out as much as I have been b/c then I can eat more ;D

hmm.. i will post as well. cause i have some goals ;D
lets see..
1) maybe to loose 1-2 pounds but im not sure of that.. cause as an athlete on a diet.. doesnt work 2) eat about a good 2000 calories a day if not more 3) eat MORE during the day! 4) relax and not obsess about EVERYTHIHG i will eat, where, what time, etc.
u know what. forget that. i wanna get rid of all ED's stupid little tricks and friends and stuff. everything that dani has said to us in her posts, are exactly true. not eating if its not the right time and place, uncomfortability, etc. ALL THAT GONE!
those are my goals lol\
but my stats are 5'1 and i think 110 pounds... my body type is athletic.. but its like really knda bulky looking.. not scrawny.. but built i guess. i dont like it cause i look stocky lol i wish i was long and lean like owl and penny! lol

ok so---
get rid of ED tendencies! no more obsessing over rules, time to beat this thing to the max, no more talking about, false victories--- but really putting everything into ACTION!
NO more writing/talking about what i am going to do, should do, etc. but really doing it and really showing ed who is in control
3500 goal, with 3000 as my minimum for really crappy terrible rare days. REal foods, and BLIZZARDS lol
Just become an all-round better athlete---- i am getting lots of muscle, and i am gonna keep running this summer.
umm stats--- 5'3 or 5'4 weight....95 ish?

jenn - so glad that your eating as much as you do so your body has room to grow i was a tiny little thing like you at your age too....but i blossomed. well sorta. i still look like i'm going through puberty. lmao maybe i always will, ed might have stunted me? i don't know

Yep Penny : ) I have my good days and bad but in the end I know I could theoretically gain 15 lbs and I'd still be healthy but I am happy where I am at right now. I feel I eat so much and such good foods that if I flucuate between 120 and 125 I am okay.
